Bmw e90/e92/e93 2007 320i petrol engine mods?

My exact model is a 2007 e93 m sport cab, with 320i non turbo petrol engine

The perforance i feel could be alot better, party to blame may be the weight issues with the metal folding hard top so...

I am planning to add a K%26amp;N induction kit and maybee a sprintbox? , and an ECU remap by superchips,

the k%26amp;N 57i induction kit, will be about 拢140 fitted

the ECU-remap will be 拢240 fitted with extended warranty

so im looking at 拢380 for the two mods, which will pay for themselves in the coming months, i hope?

i need advice on this sprintbox thinggy though, as im thinkin the ecu re-map will make the services of the sprintbox redundant, or will they?

main reasons for doing the mods are for fuel saving and overtaking peformance in london traffic, i am currently getting around 30 mpg, how much do i stand to gain in mpg and peformance, after i have completed the mods?

also, as the sprintbox increases acceleration, does this mean it will reduce my overall mpg?

please advise, thanks

serious answers only, thankyouBmw e90/e92/e93 2007 320i petrol engine mods?
I Salute the efforts you are making, the sprintbox will reduce the mpg. Im even surprised your even getting 30mpg in the london traffic.

As you know the M sport range doesn't do anything noticeable to performance, its just better alloys, body alterations etc, like the 'S line' in Audi's.

The 320i is the entry model (I dont think they do 318i anymore) so performance is pants. I used to own a 323 a while back, now I own a 330i, i was quite impressed even with 323 as an everyday car, but the 330 is out of this world.

There are some serious bargains on the shopfloor/and on autotrader......trade up my friend.
