2007 Dodge with 6.7 liter?

i already have a AFE intake i wanna to get a chip i tryed out superchips i loved the power but what would be the best chip secondly who knows more about this dpf delete pipe and if it is leagal to run on regular roads considering that the exhaust is 3 years ahead of its time buy law and in cummmins website we technicly dont have that policy with the partical filter till 2010

anyone else have more info2007 Dodge with 6.7 liter?
you cannot remove the dpf. it is federal law on all diesel engines in the united states after January 1st 2007. if you remove it you will not only be illegal but the truck will lose power. there are exhaust pressure sensors that monitor pressure before and after the dpf. if you remove it the sensors will know, and the ecm will cut back fuel and boost to derate power substantially so you can't do it. programmers and chips void your warranty, engine and power train for a good reason. the fuel system alone on this thing is almost $10,000. if i was you i would wait until out of warranty to play around.2007 Dodge with 6.7 liter?
not big into the computer but- chips a chip- just know what it is s'pose to do, its warranty- does it void you warranty( it would suck for the engine to be over stressed)

the pipe is legal if you don't get caught... if the cop wants to be picky..

but you might want to research more--- where is the exhaust going to end?? under the cap?? nice...lol

just straight pipe it--- Its all up to your ears I guess2007 Dodge with 6.7 liter?
Writer number two is right, it is Illegal to remove Your DPF, and besides that as writer 3 stated its not smart. your warrenty will be voided, not only will you loose power you can ruin your motor. As the DPF filters are pretty much identical across the board with dodge, ford and GM with a few minor differences (dodge and GM havent shot flame out of the pipe yet) it just spells bad news. I had one young welder ignore me when i told him not to modify his exhuast and its cost him close to 20K already, and we are not done yet. One of my Counterparts at dodge has had the same experience. Chip your truck or program it (bullydog, and hyper-techs are good) but leave your exaust alone.
Why would you want to void your factory warranty. Chrysler has sent out a notice as to what can cause your warranty to be voided. You have a truck that is producing 650 ft/lbs of torque out of the box. This is enough power to tear the rest of the truck to pieces. I guess its up to the owner, but it costs over $16000 to replace the long block in this truck. If its been modified your Cummins warranty is voided.
