How can i increase my MPG on my Pontiac GTO?

ive heard of superchips and changing your air filters and adding aftermarket radiator fans and such that but ive never been told straight up how to increase the MPG efficiently. id greatly appreciate if somebody could tell me full detailed :)How can i increase my MPG on my Pontiac GTO?
My 2006 GTO gets 25 mpg on the road and only 13 in town. I am very happy that a over 400 hp car can do that. I have K%26amp;N air intake SLP exhaust Power programmer and other modifications. Those mods made more power and did not change the gas milage much. Dynometer engine tunners can get more HP with changing the fuel tables that can really lessen the gas milage. Best gain in fuel economy is driving smoothly like grand dad taught you. Keeping the car waxed and tires pressures set at the factory settings.

Superchips=junk. Get someone with a laptop and HPTuners and do it that way.

Radiator fans don't do anything for MPG.

You drive a GTO, mileage shouldn't be a consideration, lol.

What are you getting around town and on the highway?
there are lots of things you can do. pretty much the basis of better mpg is getting your engine to breath better. cold air intakes and exhaust are the best places to start. also tune ups never hurt. headers, and porting your manifolds have heads will also help your engine breath alot better. and that also means more power.

the best way by far to get better mpg though is simply to get your foot off the gas asap. if you see a red light coming up coast there. same with stop signs, or whenever you need to stop. driving habits are key. also tire pressure can help mpg as well. the less your tires are causing drag the better. i like to keep mine at 35 psi, even though pontiac recomends 30 on my car.

radiator fans would be worthless in the quest for mpg. they would probably keep your engine temp down a little, but overall it helps mpg 0%.

the last thing to do would be to switch to a good synthetic motor oil. like royal purple or amsoil. less friction and drag in your engine, the better mpg. you can watch an episode of horsepower tv where they did a oil change, tranny fluid change, and rear end fluid to royal purple, and gained 9 horsepower. thats from simple fluids. and a engine that if you have the ls1 is the same as yours.

Grab a K%26amp;N air filter or intake depending on how much you wanna spend
