http://www.bestbuy.com/site/GPS-Navigati鈥?/a>

I'm going from Tennessee, USA, to Windsor, ON (Canada).

I need help choosing one from the link ^ above, I don't mind the price, I need it to be reliable and easy to read to drive there, thanks!

And I choose this one- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Magellan+-+R鈥?/a>GPS- Canada, which brand?
Im not sure if you noticed, but these are all lower end GPS models offered by Garmin, Magellan, Insiginia, and Tomtom. The screen size is 4.3 inches which is very small and gives a low resolution so I don鈥檛 think you will be able to see where you are going. Think about the safety factor in that regard. Make sure the one that you select from the lineup has a built in speaker with tts, because you will depend on the voice more than the screen. Also did you notice the slow processor that each model uses? The voice will appear choppy and unclear at some points when the GPS is talking, the directions on the screen will draw slowly, the accuracy is slightly lower and it will find directions slower, the search for POI鈥檚 will be slower, and the features will lag. Think about that too. Keep in mind when buying a GPS because the manufacturer is well known does not mean that you are getting the best quality GPS on the market. If money is not an option then change your search on best buy to the higher end GPS models, because personally in my opinion these will simply frustrate you in about a day or 2 after use.

Newelectronx doesn't exactly have a huge foothold in the portable navigation market, but it's not like the TomToms and Garmins of the world really need to keep on keepin' on sans any legitimate competition. Originally revealed at an electronics fair, the newelectronx gps portable handheld is one of the most bizarrely designed GPS units ever used or seen, taking on a more cinema type of layout in order to provide an ultra-widescreen view that can't easily be found elsewhere on TomTom, Garmin, Magellan, or Insigina. Now, the 5 inch screen on this GPS is worth the price of the high end GPS models that Garmin, Insiginia, Magellan, and TomTom sell. If you don鈥檛 believe it then just review the features that the Newelectronx GPS has in it. You will not find such features in the lower models of the GPS offered on that best buy website. If you just increase the screen size and processor you will be in the $270 range. You can collect a number of reviews about the customer service and technical support on the newelectronx model as well as the TomTom, Garmin, Magellan, and Insiginia and decide which is best for your needs, but at least now you know that you don鈥檛 have settle on a lower end GPS while you empty your wallet for virtually nothing.

In my ability to whiz around town with one adhered to the windshield and using it on vacation. For the most part, I am duly impressed with the wide variety of features (text-to-speech, voice dialing, auto map zooming and a litany of live data reports informing you of the local country information, Bluetooth handsfree calling, gas prices, etc.). In general I find the robust features easy and the user interface is stunning. More than satisfactory, with the main attraction being the ability to navigate fast and accurately and continuously give good satellite service when other GPS models have dodgy reception in dense, urban areas. In closing, I would recommend do a little more research before you close the deal on which GPS company you will support. You will be surprised on what you find and what you can save in the end.
