I currently have a Superchips 1715 programmer for it, but i cannot use it because it is VIN locked to another vehicle (i got it from a buddy at work). i called superchips and they said they could flash it for 100; but theres a high chance it wouldnt read the program on my trucks ECU, because it might have been flashed at a dealership. so he offered me a 150 dollar credit towards a new tuner if i sent the one i have in. now my question is: whats the best one? ive heard ups and downs about superchips, evo, edge, few other ones. i just got this truck a few weeks ago, and want to get it tuned, plus compensate for the large tires and calibrate speedo. here are the specs
4.6L engine
automatic tranny
6" lift
315/75/16 all terrain tires
offbrand rumbly muffler
all i want is to calibrate the speedometer and odometer (according to iphone GPS at 70mph on the gauge im doing around 90), change my shift points closer to stock because they are LONG and i dont like being very high in the RPM range, and possibly get better performance and gas mileage. any help you guys offer i would really appreciate. thanks!!2001 F150 4.6L automatic: whats the best tuner for it?
