Can an dodge dakota be converted to a standard tranny from auto? what does one have to do to complete this?

2000 Dodge Dakota, 2wd, 3.9 lt, 140,000 miles Basically is it a bolt up with minimal effort. (cross members, clutch, pressure plate, linkage, pedal, tranny tunnel, etc. Or just trash it. Auto tranny does not down shift to 1st, fluid is black and burnt, slipps when accelorating, waiting for the dodge angel to come and take it home......

Too many miles to have expense of a rebuilt tranny, ac is also leaking and so is heater core. Liv in south florida need...ac..... tranny usually helps too. No available trannys in salvage yard.....Can an dodge dakota be converted to a standard tranny from auto? what does one have to do to complete this?
it would be more expensive than rebuilding the old one, because you have to put in all the clutch and that, it may take some body or frame mods to do it

also, you would have to do stuff to the computer which will be $$$Can an dodge dakota be converted to a standard tranny from auto? what does one have to do to complete this?
It's more that likely not worth the trouble it's alot of work. Buy a different truck.
