Sold my car without title transfer, what should I do then?

My car has been wrecked. I sold it to an auto salvage company without title transfer and any other paper work. Should I worry about it? And What should I do next?Sold my car without title transfer, what should I do then?
Go to tag agency with the title and give them the information so they can show that the car was sold for salvage. That way it is on record %26amp; be sure and get your tag out of your name. This would protect you in case of the salvage yard people decide to drive it off the yard. Be sure and call your insurance company (unless they already know this).
