Where can the public buy Salvage Vehicles?

Just looking into a light salvage fixer. I want to buy from copart auto auctions but need a dealer license. Can anyone recommend a good dealer that would let me bid. I live in California and am on a budgetWhere can the public buy Salvage Vehicles?
for a guy on a budget why would you want to get into salvage/ at the auction you cant start or drive them/ the most you can do is walk around them with your hands in your pocket/ most of them are bought by body shops for parts and other guys with garages and they fool with them when they are slow in retail. these stoves for the uninformed and inexperienced are money traps. also you cant get collision insurance on them and sometimes fire and theft either. so lets take it to the next step/ you luck out on a vette/you buy and engine for it and get it all ready little by little and over time you get 25 grand init and you cant sell it/salvage title/or its stolen right out of the driveway/ no ins/substitute JUNK for salvage and start talking that wayWhere can the public buy Salvage Vehicles?
Be careful with these online services. I know of a couple guys that have used copart resellers that were a total pain and cost $200 just to register! I would check out InsuranceAuctionBid.com they placed a couple bids for me at copart and only charged me $400 including doc fees and were a pleasure to deal with.Where can the public buy Salvage Vehicles?
You don't have to be a dealer at all salvage auctions. Here's more about it:

.
You don't need a dealer's license to buy from Copart. You can buy through a reseller if you don't have a license. I sold a vehicle with them and I saw it on the web site.
