What kind of alternator do I need for my car? 75 or 95 amp?

This auto salvage place needs to know if I need a 75 amp or 95 amp alternator for my 99 ford escort se. I called auto zone and said it's not a zx2 but they still couldn't answer that for me. I could tell by looking to see if it's held down by 2 or 3 bolts but the car is not near me.What kind of alternator do I need for my car? 75 or 95 amp?
Really no way to tell without looking. Very easy to tell if you do.

The ZX2, on the other hand, only came with the 95 Amp 3-bolt style.



There was no diesel engine offered in your car, so that's not a factor.



Also, there is no issue with the case position on either of them.
If its petrol, a 75 amp should suffice, diesel 95amp, but it also depends on your ancilleries %26amp; if it's Auto or manual box, Why is the car not near you, is the battery dead or alternaror disintergrated?? if you fully charge the battery %26amp; its a good one, drive in the day, using as little of the ancilleries as possible, you should be able to get it home. you can check the back of the alternator for the amperage rating, with the 2 or 3 bolt fixings it's not always that simple as there is also left %26amp; right hand swing alternators.What kind of alternator do I need for my car? 75 or 95 amp?
so if your not gonna fix it or take care of the thing why ? if you took it out and go to auto zone have it cked you wud know its sitting out there get the mother fixed cheezzzzzzzzz or walk ?
