How do i fix a rusted bumper on a car?

I need my bumper to get fixed to pass inspection but am on a budget here, i need it for work monday but all the auto salvage places are closed all weekend. i have some stainless steal and some other sheets of metal the thickest probably being 1/8 of an inch there are rusted holes in the middle of the bumper, how can i best fix this?How do i fix a rusted bumper on a car?
Rusteeze medicated bumper ointment. . . just kidding. . . what you can do is using a stiff wire brush get rid of all of the rust. after blowing or washing off the bumper, cut a section of your sheets of mettal a little larger then the holes that you have to cover. once you do that, you can either Mig or Tig them into place on the back of your bumper. Once you did that you can fill in the front with brassing, or melted solder. then grind even, prime and paint and your good to go.How do i fix a rusted bumper on a car?
For Inspection, you just need to cover the holes...it doesn't need to be pretty. You can always replace it or do a good job later.How do i fix a rusted bumper on a car?
good god where do you live that a bumper could rust a hole in it? a salt mine ?? move away as fast as you can...
