I have a 96 thunderbird and the shifter cable broke in traffic yesterday in 5 o'clock traffic. I have it rigged up with a hurst shift cable but that was just to get home. cant attach it to the shifter. None of the auto parts stores stock it and the dealer has to order it (unreal price $126). would like to be able to put my car back together and still afford gas.Does anyone out ther know of a good salvage yard in tulsa? Hard to find part.?
