Does basketball really make you taller? I've heard that a teenagers' bones are elastic, and the more they are stretched, the longer they will become. No they are picked because they are tall. It has to do with only genes and this is an advangtage in many sports.

Basketball does not make you taller its just that the men who play was naturally tall since most boys are known to grow.
