What are your personal experiences with performance chips?

I used to have an 13 gmc sierra 2500hd 6.6L and i had an edge performance chip. it was only a 65 hp 110 lbs of torgue but it did make the truck go pretty fast. i also had other mods as well. But i sold that and now i have a 2006 ford f150 lariat supercrew. it has the 5.4 L triton V8. And i wanna put something in it but i dont know which one i should get. Superchips, Diablosport, Edge or any other kind out there. which one would you recommend?? im not looking for a speed demon here i just want my truck to pick up a lil quicker cuz an intake and exhaust but i also had 20's and now i have 24's and its just a lil slower.What are your personal experiences with performance chips?
The Ford PCM doesn't have any removable chips.
