Ford explorer performance tuner?

i have a 2001 explorer 5.0. love the car never gone out on me. i recently put an exhaust on it which gave a little more power and mpg. i am soon going to do an intake. i have seen people supercharge them but i don't want to spend thousands of dollars on that, im not rich by any means. so why not use a performance tuner? i have heard they can give more power and help mpgs which i would love. right now i get about 14 or 15 mpgs. which performance tuner would work best for the explorer? superchips? bully dog? (if there is one) edge? something else?? anyone put one on an explorer of a ford close to 2001? any info will help. thanksFord explorer performance tuner?
"performance tuner" does not exist, at least not in the way you think, all that cheap stuff is all scam, even some legit chips are useless without

1) several mods for N/A cars

2) factory turbo/sc cars

You explorer does not comply with any of the 2 previous requirements, you can look for other mods, real mods, try a a car performance simulator, there you can virtually tune your explorer and see the effect, try at http://www.nxgtrsim.comFord explorer performance tuner?
nothing you mention will make any difference even your exhaust, federal regs are so tight now regarding fleet mileage that if those things gave more mpg or power they would be fitted as standard, it's all just false advertising, they know you will not put you car on a dyno to check BHP and torque, cold air intakes do not work on injection motors, it will cause it to burn more gas as it will stay in cold start mode and if you disconnect the MAF sensor(which is calibrated to an exact size intake) it will go to emergency mode and be even worseFord explorer performance tuner?
