Transmission squeaks if going WOT then release gas at shift point apprx 40mph.?

It sounds like wet shoes squeaking on tile. Additionally you feel a jerk as it shifts to the higher gear. I am not sure what gear it is as I have not messed around with it much. I recently installed a superchips performance tune and it now squeaks if I just continually floor it and never let off the gas. It has done this since it was new.



What is causing this; I assume it is the **** pressure which I can turn down below stock on that gear if need be.

Sounds very much like the clutch discs in the trans are slipping. I seen too many times when some one seriously damaged there car or truck with the computerized tuners. If I was you I would I would reset it to factory settings which since it started acting up when you installed them is more than likely causing the problem. You could spend the $$$ and have a certified trans shop check it out though. Otherwise first thing to cause just about any problem in an automatic trans is the fluid level. Very common and usually over looked is that the belt (yes serpentine belt) is slipping under the wide open shift because of sudden change in engine RPM. if you put it back to stock shift pressure it shouldnt chirp, but if it still does your belt and or your belt tensioner are worn out. or if it is adjustable, try tightening up the belt tension. i would start with a new belt and or tensioner and see if your car still does it. both of my vehicles have shift improvement kits in them and the belts chirped untill i replaced them with new ones. now it does it when it is wet outside.
