better intake, cold air, short ram, or just better air filter, new exhaust, swap for lighter parts, and keep your car clean, replace parts when they need to be replaced, and use additives to keep the inside of the engine clean

Here's what you should do..get a bmw or volkswagen! just kidding..umm, Cold air intake(CAI), Exhaust system(I'm sure there's an inexpensive, but worthy, system since it's a honda), thicker spark plug wires, high rate spark plugs, if you have the money and time put a more grippy clutch in. Like you were saying with the chip, that would be good. I'm not sure what intake manifolds run for, for a Honda, but that would be a good step up in power. Just simple things like this. If you've got cash and time, build the block and head up, then turbo it: ).
