Has any bought a car with a salvage title?

I keep seeing cars on yahoo auto and craigslist that are very cheap for the year, make and model of car. All will say salvage title. I was just wondering if anyone has ever bought one and is it worth it? If so how long have you had the car and are there any major problems?Has any bought a car with a salvage title?
Cars with salvage title have, at one time in their life, been declared a total loss by an insurance company -- but it doesn't necessarily mean they were seriously wrecked or heavily damaged. Or they might be junk. They might have been wrecked but professionally repaired and put back on the street -- and could be as good as any other car -- or not.



The ONLY way you'll know about any problems a salvage car might have is to get it inspected by a qualified mechanic who also knows body work.Has any bought a car with a salvage title?
salvage is just what it says//rebuilt-flood jobs--wrecks-2 cars put together to make 1-unless you are an expert stay away. you are better off being a bus passenger and throwing your money out the window-at least you can save enough for bus fare
